About 2 years ago our state (Arkansas, US) passed "Do Not Call" legislation with the usual hoopla and moaning from the telemarketing scum. So I sent $5.00 to our Attorney General to put my numbers on the list. And my phone has largely gone dead silent except for the few "exceptions" that were unfortunately allowed in the legislation.

We've done this now at the national level, would it be so hard to pass "Do Not E-mail" legislation also?

(And while I objected to having to pay $5.00 for it, it would have been a bargain at 10x the price. Peace and quiet is worth alot.)
