This will work. Linux works fine with Netgear and
Linksys, no expenience with D-Link.

I had a lot of problems the G band wireless and Linux,
but that was last February and maybe things have
improved by now. Wireless B band works flawlessly.

The Linux box can use DHCP to get everything from your
WAP, if you've set up DHCP.
