Per the xfce heavies, xfsound is just an interface module that invokes whatever you
point it to, the default is xfplay (a script that invokes sox). Earlier versiers
appear to have invoked play. Click on the xfsound icon )in the popup list 3rd icon
from the right on the xfce main panel) to see what yours is setup for. I'm on xfce
3.8.3, if that makes a difference.
