I never bothered setting up my sound before the upgrade to kde2.2beta1 so I
don't know if this is a problem with my configuration or what... but,
although I've got sound when i execute from a prompt /usr/bin/play nameof.wav
I can't seem to get any sound whatsoever in kde2.2beta1.
I've heard that artsd underwent some major changes so perhaps it never was
repaired in time to make it in the beta release.
Wondering if anyone's running kde2.2beta1 w/ sound working or would have any
ideas how I can get mine going.
