err... yes, in fact you would. there *should* have been an entry
'map=/System.old' included in that snip from /etc/lilo.conf which i (for
some reason) typed in rather than doing a C&P. just goes to show that
you're better to copy and paste than hand type things... especially when
you're getting tired. sorry 'bout that!
