Problem is, I don't know where to put the symlinks.
I did go out and get a new cable, making sure it was bidirectional. Same
result.
I also switched to another Caldera 2.4 box which talks fine with a jazz drive
so I know that parallel port is good. SAME result.
So, next I will try the Red Hat 7.1 box.
