David I did all that but it then refuses to mount the partition says too many files systems etc. I did upgrade efsprogs to latest as well. The partitions were ext2 as when I installed they had info I wanted to keep (home and backup). Do I need to update something else ?? -- Keith Antoine aka 'skippy' 18 Arkana St, The Gap, Queensland 4061 Australia PH:61733002161 Retired Geriatric, Sometime Electronics Engineer, Knowall, Brain in storage _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
