Couldn't be easier. > Thanks, David 1) My kernel does have complete ext3 support (/proc/filesystems is ok). I tried 2.4.15-pre6 (I think it was pre6), but some of the compiles failed, so I will wait until .15 final comes out. I wasn't really interested in pursuing why the compiles failed. 2) My current filesystem is reiserfs, so tune2fs won't help. I did use tune2fs to turn off interval fsck on the new filesystems, however. 3) The real problem, as I suspected, was my fstab entry. I fixed it up like in the following post (Kurt), and now my system works just fine. I just need to copy over my sylpheed mail directory again before cutting over. Thanks Kurt for the fstab sample. That did the trick. -- Collins Richey Denver Area gentoo_rc6 xfce+sylpheed _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
