Hi gang! An rpm newbie question: can somebody tell me what this message means when I try to use rpm (version 3.0.3.0) on a package:
[root@noname /root]# rpm -i --test quasar-1.0-18.i386.rpm only packages with major numbers <= 3 are supported by this version of RPM error: quasar-1.0-18.i386.rpm cannot be installed I thought "major" numbers had to do with device drivers.
