Can you return things to the way they were and start over? Can you log in as root and edit the login manager from within KDE? I can't remember if KDE 2.1.1 on eD2.4 let you configure that or not. If you can, remove all users then add them back again. Of course, if you can't login using kdm, I guess that'll be tough. I never tried to remove KDE1 from eD2.4, so I can't offer too much help on this. I assume you've read everything on the SxS site regarding the removal of KDE1. Have you looked at your kdmrc file in /opt/kde2/share/config/?
