Most of the new immigrants in the past few years are Californians, and here, like everywhere else, you hear the constant complaint that they don't know how to drive in snow. My only complaint after 13 years of safe freeway commuting (60 miles per day) is the pickup drivers and SUV drivers (almost never standard cars) that weave an S curve down the road trying to make better than the flow will permit and seldom succeeding. Most of these guys and gals gain about 5 car lengths on me in 15 miles, after causing a lot of brake lights to go on. Impossible to tell whther they are California imports or not. The same group usually drives 20mph above a sane speed on snow days. -- Collins Richey - Denver Area WWTLRD? - ELX-1 system k2.4.17+xfce+sylpheed _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
