I haven't tried music cds, so I don't know. One other respondent on this thread (I lost the post) stated that ELX overwrote his MBR. I selected the don't do anything option (there were three choices), and ELX definitely did not write to the MBR. One may or may not like the Windows-like setup on ELX.
