I have an automatic payment going out once every 28 days to
Paradise.net.nz. I do know what I am doing.

Nut this is not the first time I have received this sort of dunning
email, which is why I have taken my time in concluding it is probably
fraudulent, since they have had three months already to clear it up.
I paid $20.00 by Internet banking the second time I received such an
email, into the same account that my automatic payments were going
into; so it's apparently not my bank or the Paradise.net.nz bank
account number that's at fault, since they recognized that Internet
banking payment I made manually; but that leaves TelstraClear in
arrears to me, not me to them. To wit, I am now two months ahead, not
the single month ahead, in payments.

I think I will contact them tomorrow, let them know either they sort
it out pronto, or I go to the Police.

It's not a case of a mere mistake when it's been going on for three
or more months. Or if it is a "mere mistake", then perhaps the
Commerce Commission and/or the Serious Fraud Office might like to get
involved.

And you wonder why people prefer to leave New Zealand for pastures
that are to a minor extent, slightly greener?
