 As root use;

lspci -k

to find if a driver module has been loaded.

Here is the output for my eeepc which is an older model with an Intel video
GDU.

lspci -k -s 00:02

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
        Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 1252
        Kernel driver in use: i915
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML
Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
        Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 1252

As you can see I have the i915 kernel module loaded.

Cheers Ross Drummond

PS Excellent choice of PC. I like mine for its low real estate foorprint,
quietness and low power consumption.
