No - and you still need antivirus and anti malware on a virtual
windows box

every time, and use the cloned image to go to risky sites

Well no not really. I'm guessing that your VM is bridged to your LAN,
so other hosts on the network are local? Perhaps it would be workable
if the VM was in its own DMZ with zero access to any other host that you
care about, otherwise it could be a step-off host for further attacks.
