My raspberry pi arrived this week :) Not played with it much, presently has squeezeplug (http://www.squeezeplug.eu) loaded. Will also try some of the xbmc distros on it, but getting time on the TV is hard! (kids) Most of my playing (as opposed to just using a computer out of the box for lurking on mailing lists and hating facebook) centres around mythtv/xbmc/squeezebox etc. Just counted and there are 13 devices presently with dhcp addresses on the home lan. Most run linux or android, including the TV. A couple of squeezeboxes which I think have their own os (although later models run linux based squeezOS). There'll be 5 more when my wife and I get home (2 android phones, 2 android tablets and my wife's laptop). There are some other things on the DHCP reserved list, including laptops that no longer work, xboxes that aren't near a network plug and so on. That's my computing rundown for now. _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.canterbury.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
