Cool, I assume you will let the EQC workers know that they are being
video'd. We shall call you GCSB from now on...
Well of course I warned EQC... mind you they managed to organise five
"complete final inspections" before number 6 comes out and says "we
can't do this cos it needs an engineer's report"
So communication is unlikely to happen.
Anyway its my property, despite what they might assume.
So has anyone else got anything interestingly linux or OS happening at
the moment?
I have a Foscam FI8905W IP Camera on the end of my garage looking across
the driveway to the road, transmits to one of the 2 wireless APs in the
house. Recordings are handled by Zone Minder on what is primarily our
MythTV backend box but also functions as our file server and desktop
machine for me when I need a virtual machine or when I'm not using the
Macbook. MythTV FE, TV, a couple of android phones and a couple of
windows machines rounds off the comparatively short list of 13 devices
with an IP address if I count the DSL router. However there's only 2 of
us in the house these days and I'm the only one who cares about this stuff.
Must get myself a raspberry pi when I find some spare time...
Cheers,
Roger
