Canon Powershot S500 in PTP mode -> USB extender -> gphoto2 script on
CentOS 5 server ( who's primary use is as an asterisk server ) to
autosave every 2 mins. Picked up by a php script on my main infra server
( Ubuntu ), which post processes image ( original is upside-down and
larger ), extracts weather info added to a mysql database from what's
left of my weather station ( open2300 - modified to save properly )
after 8 years use using convert out of imagemagick and then sftp'd
( over an OpenVPN tunnel ) up to one of my web servers ( debian
squeeze / nginx / pgp-fpm / mysql - running Etomite CMS for those who
remember it ) every 10 minutes.

How's that for Open Sauciness???
