field now, and I've just explained the correct permissions on /tmp, and why.

        According to what I can find on Archive.org I beat you to the list by a 
few years. Weird reading some of my old answers to questions on the list circa 
2001-2002. They could be replies to questions at work today. Somethings change, 
but some never do!
