 JFYI: This is true only for Linux and FreeBSD. For another commercial
*NUX-ies (HP-UX, AIX, SCO, Tru-64 Alpha e.t.c.) the default encoding
for short form LANG=ru is  _standart_  ISO-8859-5 .
