If you wanted to see exactly what you had yesterday, why didn't you
view it with yesterday's font? Different fonts have different ligatures;
Courier has none, where as an old book font may have a ct and st ligature,
and a handwritting font may very well have a The or an er ligature. They're
all the same script.
