I gather that ZWNJ is compulsory for some languages (fa, ur?), but
is ZWJ needed? And if so, where - in particular, can it come at the
beginning of lines?

If you have the gimp, you can grab a screenshot with Xtns/Screen Shot,
(or in later versions File/Aquire/Screen Shot.)
Xv also does screenshots, as do probably many other things.

I'm hoping to have selection working sometime soon. Then it should be more
