http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00255.html As a short summary, I've had success streaming from 8 QC fusions on a single system, 640x480x15fps in MJPG format. There is some jitter around the 15fps mark, but only streaming from 2 cameras should certainly be no less successful. I put 4 cameras each on two USB 2 hubs (with no USB 1 devices present). Setting a usb HCD per webcam give better performance (a PCI to USB add on card is not very expensive) and allow maximum frame rate on each webcam.
