If i get the current hg of v4l-dvb-kernel from mcentral is it not going to be compatible with uvc? Have been using uvcvideo for a fusion webcam since the beginning and this is the first time i had a problem with it.
I am running ubuntu 7.04 self compiled v4l-dvb-kernel repository "need it for a tvtuner usb id issue" The dmesg after installing the new dvb repository. [11635.108000] usb 5-5.1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 27 [11635.392000] usb 5-5.1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [11635.504000] uvcvideo: disagrees about version of symbol video_devdata [11635.504000] uvcvideo: Unknown symbol video_devdata [11635.504000] uvcvideo: disagrees about version of symbol video_unregister_device [11635.504000] uvcvideo: Unknown symbol video_unregister_device [11635.504000] uvcvideo: disagrees about version of symbol video_device_alloc [11635.504000] uvcvideo: Unknown symbol video_device_alloc [11635.504000] uvcvideo: disagrees about version of symbol video_register_device [11635.504000] uvcvideo: Unknown symbol video_register_device [11635.504000] uvcvideo: disagrees about version of symbol video_device_release [11635.504000] uvcvideo: Unknown symbol video_device_release did some googling and 1 other post.. Should i be taking this to the dvb team for "breaking it" or is it an issue with uvc? Camera works on my gentoo box though ;)! thank you, kevin a kricfalusi _______________________________________________ Linux-uvc-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/linux-uvc-devel
