Aye... Could you please post what (if anything) do you get upon inserting the module into the kernel? I get naught. Also, please post the version of luvcview you are using - mine is 20070512. luvcview gives me exact same error when I run it with sudo. BTW, forgot to post my kernel, it's 2.6.22-14-generic (a standard Ubuntu 7.10 kernel).
