It's quite simple. Download sources for 2.6.29 or 2.6.30, unpack them, copy 
the .config file shipped with the Fedora kernel (a copy might be located in 
/boot) to the source directory, run make, make install and make 
modules_install. Don't forget to update your boot loader afterwards.

If Fedora requires an initrd image you might need Fedora-specific 
documentation.
