Not sure why Borislav's message isn't on mailing list archives so that you can see to what patch I'm refering to here is his message: "Hi, I would like to join your conversation... Few months ago (when kernel 2.6.29 was released) this problem showed up for me too. I've searched and found out this: http://developer.berlios.de/support/?func=detailsupport&support_id=102913&group_id=5681 Then in the forums of my distribution of choice I've found this: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=70685 In short: I've tested with vanilla kernel, it didn't work. I've tweaked the patch, suggested by Pavel Pisa, applied it to 2.6.29 and it worked. After that tweaked it for 2.6.30 and it worked too. I don't know how exactly it helps, but it does its job. Please include if possible." -- http://kernelreloaded.blog385.com/ linux, blog, anime, spirituality, windsurf, wireless registered as user #367004 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org.
