I have tried applying microdia.patch to stable 2.6.30 vanilla kernel
but it fails to patch the kernel for me :( I guess that git version
and this patch are somewhat Arch specific or is it something else?

I will still try to build the vanilla kernel just to comfirm that this
module needs to be patched.

If anybody has this microdia patch for vanilla 2.6.30 kernel I would
be more than grateful to have it.

Cheers!
