I wonder if there are any XML to PDF translators out there? (But I'm just too lazy to look) I know you can translate TEX to PDF, which might be an option here.
It seems to me that it'd be more versatile to output to something like XML, then use existing translators to go to PDF or whatever else we might want in the future.
