Editant la línia que t'ha dit en Vicent, prova aquests, ho dic perquè sovint funcionen:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.17-10-generic root=/dev/sda1 ro quiet splash noapic acpi=off pci=bios pots fer diverses proves de posar pci=bios però no posar noapic acpi=off, i així trobar què és el que millor et funciona. I un cop trobades les opcions bones, aleshores s'ha de tocar el fitxer d'inicialització del sistema a /boot/grub/menu.lst. Salut, Quim.
