Update: I do have a set of SuSE Linux 9.1 CD's here - should I try to install them and overwrite the FC1 installation? I know the SuSE supports ntfs and I'm not concerned about losing anything in the Linux FC1 installation - I had just put that on to test it out. I AM concerned about some of the files that I'm trying to recover from the Windows partition. My problem is that I'm afraid if for some reason the SuSE install doesn't work, I'll have to reformat the whole hard drive.
