Hello,
Im new to the group and did a search for how many packages to install in a fresh install. I have gotten a copy of Redhat Linux from the back of a book and was wondering if I should install the entire OS and all the Packages. My goals are to learn setting up a web server with PHP and mysql in order to use php-nuke or another package like that. I have dabbled in Linux off and on. I was also thinking of trying to load up Debian instead of Redhat. I guess the real question is should I work my way in from the kiddie pool side or jump off the diving board?
