Hi there people, this is my first message to the group. Sorry by
starting a thread so soon, but I got a problem I would like to share
with you and see if I can get some help.

When I'm using Windows, and reboot to use Linux, as well as when I'm
using Linux and reboot to use Windows, my network stops. Well, not
really the network, but more the connection to the internet, which
depends on that.

After a while, (in general with turning off the computer), I enter
again in any of the OS's, and the network works properly. During linux
bootup, the dhclient receives dhcpoffer's, but for some reason, it
"ignores" then, and cannot stablish and ip address for the machine. On
Windows, the connection stays being shown as "null or limited
conectivity"(i don't know if the message is really this way, i use it
in portuguese), but in both cases it starts working again after a
while. Seems like in both cases, the system can't get an address by DHCP.

I would like to know what can I do, or at least if someone could give
me and idea of what could be happening... I use Debian Sarge v3.1, and
Windows XP with SP2. My network card is onboard, a Via Rhine-II
(VT6102), motherboard Asrock k7vt2.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the inconvenience. :D
