This has nothing to do with DSL compatibility on Linux.

If you want to discuss your Windows XP problems on a Linux list, which 
is probably the wrong place to look for information on Windows:

1) start a brand new thread, instead of posting a change of subject on 
this thread, and,

2) Put the words [OFF TOPIC] in the new Subject line, along with the new 
subject you want to discuss.
