Hi,
I have just tried to re-boot into Mandriva 2006 after a not unusual
session doing a video conversion with Transcode, but I get the
following message.
/bin/sh: root=/dev/hda1: No such file or directory
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
and the computer hangs.
I googled for this error, but found nothing the same.
Is there a solution to this which doesn't involve re-installing?
If more information is required please ask.
