I have installed Suse Linux 10. ( after installing RedHat 9 and Ubuntu
) Hoping that it would recognise my cable Internet. This is what I am
having great problems with.All verisons will recognise the hardware
but is unable to connect.
Since I have always used windows I know nothing about how to install
drivers or software in lunix.
Could someone with patients tell me step by step how to get my
internet working and how to install drivers or to code whatever I
need.
My Ethernet is a realtek 8190 which Linux knows and it will tell me I
am connected. But I can not get on the Internet.
This is really frustrating me I even bought books and I can't seem to
figure it out and I am about to pack it away even tho I would love to
use it.
