Ive been considering switching to Linux, but i have this older computer.
I dont use it much, but i thought i would keep it so i could continue to run
some of my
Windows programs. Well,i think the battery went dead and cleared the Bios.
I cant get it to boot from the hard drive, or the floppy. The only thing i can
get it to
do is boot from the CDrom, with my Linspire disc. It only works with the Live
CD,it wont
Install. From there i can read and write to both the hard drive, and the floppy.
Ive messed around with the bios a bit,but i have no idea what half that stuff
is.
I took a class in electronics years ago, but when it comes to programming im as
blind as a bat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
