Its really weird,i can only get it to boot from CDrom, and only with Linux.
I just tried DOS 6.22 on a CDrom, and it says "insert system disk".So i
popped my DSL disk in and it came right up. If i could only install one of these
systems, because at least with the Linspire, it doesnt have its full
capabilities on the LiveCD

I would see if your computer is even detecting the hard drive. You can do
that in the bios, it should be pretty self explanatory. Some older systems
have and option in the bios to auto detect hard drive or you can set the
parameters manually. But that is where I would start. If it is not detecting
the hard drive, I would check the cables first. Do you have a way to check
the hard drive in another machine ? If it's not the cables and it's still
not detecting it, you might have to start thinking about a new hard drive.
And they are sure cheap now. I have see 40 gig for less than $20.
