networking equipment. so I plan on calling Monday and find out if it is you go
in find what you want and buy or if they will do it like hey used to do it a
giant garage sale. any hints on picking one out also will it be a dead give
away by saying switch on it. I hope to pick up a server or two course it will
more then likely be hard drive free since the last ones I got from them where

wired in or do I need to buy something else I have heard of people talking
about hubs and switches would that work. Not that i am planning on growing but
a month ago I never fathomed having 4 computers running on it any ideas not
wanting to invest a fortune just want a simple solution.

I would suggest looking at www.pricewatch.com for prices. I have a
number of 24 port switches that I got free from my local freecycle group
(www.freecycle.org to locate the nearest group). You might also look at
  www.craigslist.com for things like that.
