Everyone!

I attempted to use Linux ( Xandros ) for a couple of weeks and LOVED
it.... my problem was applications... I do graphic, website and other
computer stuff, and just had a really hard time getting reliable apps to
work. Some worked "ok" under crossoffice, but I use adobe illustrator,
in design, macrodmeda, Paint shop pro and a super html program called
Namo. Those programs I am using all day... some would work and then
suddenly go poof, some not at all. Trust me I researched every
replacement program I could find...Inkscape, gimp and alot more.and they
just were not "professional" quality or at least workable for me in a
heavy use environment and at the speeds I was used to.

So I was told to wait by the folks on the Xandros board, and soon the
applications were/are going to be developed that would rival some of
these programs. I await that day with great anticipation! Is there a
place to watch, maybe even beta test up coming software apps, or at
least a place to watch for their release. I know alot of hardware
manufacturers are coming on board as all my equipt I make sure
compatible with Linux, a few don't care, but it seems more and more are
making the right drivers and such.

Any body know of software people who are making "hot" linux apps I can
 shop for or drool over?

 Hope that all makes sense!!

 Corisa
