My guess is, something that shouldn't have been deleted got deleted,
or the X11 configuration got thrashed -- accidentally or maliciously,
I don't know. What are likely culprits, and how do I go about
correcting this?
_Why don't you delete the "cafe" account and create a brand new one, so all
the settings will be re-created for you.
