I don't know much about wine. (I don't drink, snicker snicker.) Seriously, I have only used it a few times, without success, but I didn't try very hard. I do find VirtualBox useful. It saves me the trouble of booting two computers, and should also be more ecologically sound, as it uses less power than a separate machine. HOWEVER--and this is a big however--I'm not running resource intensive apps in Windows. I need Windows primarily for the Checkpoint VPN client to access work from home. While using the client, I basically check our Citrix servers (done with a web browser) and Unix machines (done with putty, the ssh terminal client for Windows.) If I were using some Adobe products, Visual Basic, or anything else that used more than a small amount of resources, I suspect I'd be right there with Brian, shouting, NO, use a separate machine. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Willy: What are you gonna' do with him, anyway?
