I have a few DOS/Windows apps that I need to/enjoy running. I have my computers set up with front-loading drive cages, with the OS loading into one slot, and data drive/s loading into additional slots. This way, I can just pop in whichever hard drive has the OS I want to run, and whichever HD has the dataset I want to work on, and I am ready to go. It's pretty versatile. I 'stole' the idea from my servers, which are, like most servers, front-loading SCSI. Now-a-days, though, there are front-loading rigs for IDE (PATA) and SATA, too. -- -wittig http://www.robertwittig.com/ http://robertwittig.net/ http://robertwittig.org/ .
