Hello,

DamnSmall Linux, Puppy Linux, AntiX from Mepis, perhaps others with a light
weight window manager.  I would try to find a faster Slot1 CPU for that
motherboard, too.  Some P2 motherboards can run P3 CPUs, too.  If you were here
I'd give you one to try.

Good luck,
Joan in Reno

I have an 1997 model IBM Activa. It's specs: AMD P2 clone 233mhz

processor,32 mgs ram. If I put in more ram would it be possible

to run the simplest version Of Linux? If so what distribution

would be recommended?

Thanks
