I'm kind of doubtful on this. ROM shadowing has been part of chipsets for a long time and it seems really odd that they would just leave it out. Do you have the factory bios for the board? If so fire it up and make dd read from the f0000 area and then watch the chip select on the bios chip to see if its asserted. -- Richard A.
