Depending on the motherboard (and I don't know the K7SEM) .. there's a fair chance that it won't support 4Mbit EPROMs ... there's usually only enough address space for 2Mbit (max) ... which is why LinuxBIOS made a fiddle with the DiskOnChip stuff ...
