Title: RE: 2.2.x kernel for LinuxBios ?

That is, once we got 2.4 running with linuxbios, 2.2 was OK too – except for the real time clock which needed some extra care.

We  have linuxbios run fine with kernel 2.2.19. No special changes compared to 2.4

Does LinuxBios runs for 2.2.x ?

I tried to minimize 2.4.x and Ron are right, no matter what I do (make
menuconfig) I still got around 5xx Kb... the plan is to try to use a 4Mbit
flash to replace K7SEM's original 2Mbits one, so, a 450Kb kernel + boot
strap should fit on it, please confirm if somebody did this before, or I am
missing something.

Thanks.

Thanks for helping!

if you yank EVERYTHING out of 2.4, it's still about 512KB gzip'ed.
