Just so you know you aren't crazy... I see makemap in /usr/bin too, on
all of the RH 5.1 systems around here.  The rpm command you specify
gives me the same result you are seeing, too.

Maybe Nicholas has upgraded his sendmail to 8.9.1a and it put makemap
into /usr/sbin ??
