Suite or best of breed standalone ... sometimes it's a tough call which to use. Suites are inherently big. Standalones are almost always smaller. WP8 is a standalone. StarOffice is targeted as a "crossover" replacement for the Office'97 suite. WP8 looks small in comparison to SO5 ... but not to its former self, not to its predecessor programs. I think the days of dinky wordprocessors are over ... unless we all get really good with vi. NOT!!!!!!! Linux is a "best of breed" OS and Linux-Apache makes for a best of breed server.
