I really like the Linux in a Sack idea, but how about the idea of a "Linux
Care Package"?
Something like what your poor lonely computer would get at Summer Camp
instead of beef jerky, comic books and pre-addressed postcards.
In fact, speaking of that, is anyone on this list familiar with any of the
many computer summer camps / programs? I wonder if there are any such
camps devoted to free OSes -- does anyone know? I know that the CS class
at the Franklin and Marshall-based CTY program in Lancaster PA (CTY,
loosely speaking, is a asummer prgoram run by Johns Hopkins offering
classes in a number of subjects to bright middle and high-school aged
students) uses scheme to teach programming ...
